
Turanza D. Whipple Jackson
​Dr. Jackson's work in public service began as an educator. In her early career, she worked in two Title I high schools teaching science content while supporting leadership teams in curriculum planning while earning credentials as a certified teacher for Talented and Gifted and English Speakers of other Languages. After years in public education, Turanza focused on community outreach to teach adult learners and supporting small businesses development. Turanza is a life-long learner and has an affinity for educational equality, community, and engaging opportunities for leadership and development.

A first-generation college graduate, Turanza studied liberal arts at Mercer University and Kennesaw State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, a Master of Education in Science from Georgia State University, and a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership and minor in Adult Learning from Nova Southeastern University.
