Turanza D. Whipple Jackson, Ed. D., served as an educator from 2007 to 2016 intermittently teaching science in the Fulton County School system and Georgia Cyber Academy. Dr. Jackson later joined a Fortune 500 company in Atlanta, GA and has lead a management and educational consulting company since 2014.
A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Turanza W. Jackson studied liberal arts at Mercer University and Kennesaw State University earning a B.S. in Chemistry, a M.Ed in Science from Georgia State University, and an Ed.D in Instructional Leadership and minor in Adult Learning from Nova Southeastern University. . She was a Hach Scientific Foundation scholar while attending Georgia State University.
Dr. Jackson conducted educational research on the topic of multicultural awareness and published work through Nova Southeastern. She and her husband have been married for over 21 years and together have three children. Dr. Jackson established a strong education foundation for the two youngest children through a combination of homeschool, Montessori, hybrid and private day programs.
